Really good work, wish I could do something just a fraction as good as that!

I'd say i'm pretty good at art, and I find hands impossible to draw, but you nailed everything!

Just noticed this. I like how the mountain slope in the background follows the curve of his arm. Really draws the eye up to the finger and tower.

Just where exactly do you learn to draw with computer software? I have a drawing tablet and the ability to draw but I have no idea where to start.

Hey guys,

I recently did some Skyrim fanart and thought I might share it here. In fact, I started with this when the first pics of Dovahkiin were released. I never spent so much time on a picture before, but I had a blast painting it. Now I understand, that working at Bethesda must be the best job in the world.

This is my planned first Skyrim character, btw, some kind of Nord scout. :spotted owl: This might change, though, because the Khajiit seem to be quite good looking this time, too.

Anyway, I'd be really grateful for any kind of feedback. I know there are some Character Art Devs here from time to time, and professional feedback would be friggin cool :).

I hope some of you enjoy, I know I did when I made this.

Cheers!

The Underking approves :liplick:

Very nice work bud. I like the color range you are using although you might want to saturate some in very limites areas to pop your image more and accent the composition. The lighting on the character definitely seems odd to me considering the source. You have what looks like the main light source coming from between the mountains yet there seems to be another very strong light source coming from over head. Seems off to me. Last thing that seems odd to me is the pose, more specifically the finger pointing off is not as dynamic as it could be. Anyway in spite of my feedback its still a very strong piece of work.. Hope that is helpful, keep it up :)

I'm only good at the sketching part, not so much with painting.

Not as ragged or burly as a Nord should be, but it looks great. :)

Wow...that completely obliterates http://s337.photobucket.com/albums/n384/Advent-Angel/?action=view¤t=drawingofskyrimlogo.jpg. I mean, it's not the same drawing, but still...Great job, man. Amazing work.
