Hey guys,

I recently did some Skyrim fanart and thought I might share it here. In fact, I started with this when the first pics of Dovahkiin were released. I never spent so much time on a picture before, but I had a blast painting it. Now I understand, that working at Bethesda must be the best job in the world.

This is my planned first Skyrim character, btw, some kind of Nord scout. :spotted owl: This might change, though, because the Khajiit seem to be quite good looking this time, too.

Anyway, I'd be really grateful for any kind of feedback. I know there are some Character Art Devs here from time to time, and professional feedback would be friggin cool .

I hope some of you enjoy, I know I did when I made this.

Edit: I especially like the way the picture's focal point is shifted away from the centre of the painting and to the distance by the lighting and character's pose, evokes the feeling of journeys that the character will embark on.

that's pretty cool, but you should have probablly posted it in the art section. i really like how he is expresing a motion with his hand. did you use photoshop?

Wow, that's some great work! I really like the pose as well. Only thing that I can see that's a bit off is the second half of his arm seems a bit skewed.

Awesome job. The way the light's hitting him makes him look like his shoulders and finger are covered in plastic wrap though. Maybe he has a Shield enchantment on somewhere? :laugh:

The fog is a really nice touch. Fits everything we've seen so far perfectly. And I wouldn't mind too much if that armor was in the game.
