The thing is we have to keep in mind very famous musicians like Elvis, and covers on his songs, are very expensive to license.

That is why I like my idea, hurrrudrrrrrr (of course I do, everyone likes their own ideas) - to hire unknown/indie artists to write original scores for the next game.

Yea, I figured that the license to an Elvis song would be too expensive, although I had hoped to hear something Elvis-like when I walked into "The Kings" lol.

I actually love your idea though, Savage. I bet they could do it, too! Hire a band to create original 40's music! They could still throw in some Billie Holiday here and there (love her music). :)

I also would love to hear some Big Band music, like Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller...

Granted we're not sure the setting or mood of Fallout 4, here are some suggestions
Captain Beefheart-Same Ol' Blues. For sure, an old school rock tune, that inspired Jack White himself.
Steely Dan-Royal Scam. Maybe compress or abbreviate this song
Son House-Death Letter. What can I say?
Lord, Send Me An Angel-Blind Willie Mctell. Definitely has a Fallout feel.
Bang Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down-Nancy Sinatra. Who better than Frank's flesh and blood?
I'd be grateful if you took time to check these out, thanks ;)
