Play the guitar; play it again, my Johnny
Maybe you're cold, but you're so warm inside

I was always a fool for my Johnny
For the one they call ................... JOHNNY GUITAR :ahhh:

Just plug in your iPod and use that music. Problem solved.

Or just hum to yourself.
Or just turn up the volume on the TV in the other room.
Or just put in a different game and play that.
Problem solved.

Sorry, getting tired of people giving out-of-game solutions for in-game problems. It's not really reasonable to pretend away every problem.

Like my Johnny.. Johnny guiiiitaaaaaaaaaaarr... Oh my god, that song always forces me to switch the radio channel. I've recently started using Race mod to add some country music which I think is pretty fitting to the theme in NV. What I really miss, is The adventures of Herbert Daring Dashwood ;)

Edit* Forgot to add: "How about a yeehaw for law and order"

And I rarely listen to the radio but yeah it can get a little bit repetitive.

Or they could fix the bug?

I really don't think there's a bug, so I wouldn't hold your breath for anything to be "fixed."

Fallout 3 music was excellent. I'm very dissapointed by NV soundtrack, I don't turn on the radios anymore.

NO KIDDING! Why does anyone like Lily? I sneak a lot, and listening to her, "Don't worry Dearie..." really any of them opening their mouths when it's time to SNEAK is freakin' obnoxious as HELL! But her's is insane (go figure) and she keeps repeating it. At least Cass' sneak phrase is funny, and I've only heard her say it right away when I sneak. She doesn't act like a damned broken record. When I went after those stalkers with Lily... wow I wanted to killer her.

Cass is my favorite companion, not only because of the +5 DT boost from hard drinkin' but I think they put the most time into her writing. Hunting for **** heads, she mentions Mr. House's **** tube, and today I hit up some jet while accidently fumbling into a hill of 10 robots and she says "are you high? Get that away from me."

It's great, she's the only one who really feels like traveling with you. Not to mention all her comments on the worldly places you visit. I didn't even try to acquire Lily in the second run through... annoying as hell, but I'm sure some 13 year old out there really loves her.

The radio is ok, I got tired of 3 dog and his channel at some point too. The eerie music that plays when it's OFF can get annoying too, if only because you can be in the friendliest place in FNV about to buy something from a merchant and hear "duh duh duh.." like jaws the shark is coming to get you. The thing is it doesn't matter how much music they had it would probably never be enough so might as well let us bring our own music into the game. There can't be a licensing problem with that is there?

In fact I haven't tried yet but maybe I'll see if I can play music from the XMB while I game. Worth a shot I suppose.

No because there is really nothing to fix...

So far out of all the tracks that are listed as being in the game, I can pinpoint as being heard in either the casinos or the radio. Those 48 tracks that are listed are indeed in the game.

I've heard all the songs that have been listed for the radio at one time or another. If you ask me the main problem lies in that some of the songs that New Vegas plays are just not songs that some people like or they find them repetitive (emphasis on some). In fallout 3, no matter how many times I heard "Anything Goes" I always found myself singing along to the music. While now I could honestly do without ever hearing "Johnny Guitar" or "Mad about the Boy" again. Not only this but Fallout 3 had Enclave Radio (All hail President Eden!) which allowed for some variance between the two stations. While New Vegas's stations play pretty much the same stuff. In fact Mojave Radio might as well be non-existant.

I loved the Radio on Fallout 3, yet this Fallout only has about 4 songs and the Radio stations are the same.... why have they done this to their fans?

On mojave music radio i heard big iron atleast 10 times in a hour.
Some other songs i barely know.

Radio New Vegas is so frustrating, because either you have to listen to the eerie whistles of the Mojave Desert or Johnny Guitar over and over again. Or you could listen to Hearache ny the Number and wish you were actually having heartaches by the number instead of listening to Mr. New Vegas's boring, dull voice...

Mr. New Vegas is ok in my opinion, but I certainly don't agree that he is a major improvement over Three Dog. All in all I think they're about equal.

48 of the most boring songs ever. No. I take that back. There are a few good songs.

I feel bad about saying this, but Wayne Newton's voice is kind of gargly and hard to understand. And dull. I'm sorry Mr. Newton Vegas...er....Mr. New Vegas.

I love Blue Moon and I've got Spurs that Jingle Jangle jingle and I even kinda like Big Iron, but songs like Johnny Guitar just make me want to punch kittens.

Just not as good as the Fallout 3's soundtrack in my opinon, there wasn't a single song I didn't like and the addition of the patrotic songs and inspiring speeches with Enclave radio made it great.
