As much as I dislike Linkin Park, this song's surprisingly fitting... I'll even go as far as to say it's a decent song.

It's the song that Medal of Honor used for their trailer, it worked but the song makes me think of BRINK more than Medal of Honor. I feel like BRINK is more of a "broken" environment than Medal of Honor is, just my opinion though

Brink's dystopian theme could only be satisfied by one genre of music -- Detroit techno.

How to Parkour:
Step 1: jump onto object
Step 2: jump onto other object
Step 3: jump onto another object
etc etc...

Seems easy enough to me ;)

Ya ... well ... not really.

And my entry would probably be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xhpYaWs5XQ or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uewv3uahpbE

I think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51iquRYKPbs works the best for BRINK, can work for both sides of the fight, and it just makes me think of BRINK when I listen to it.

I like this song since it has a meaning of people that are afraid of a Nuclear Warfare, the conflict in the world etc.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FukeNR1ydOA is perfect for the resistance on how they feel about the founders...

but this fits the conflict in my mind, everyone totally in the dark and the founders lying to everyone.....

This ones great for it. It references the two sides of the story thing and how their problems could be solved without shooting each other.

Good songs, everybody! :)
*I had been to exposed to 30 Seconds to Mars recently and some of their songs are stuck in my head right now, lol. :D

I think some of their songs could be good-ish for Brink, I think...? (They sound kind of like Linkin Park or a similar rock band-sound, kind of..) I don't know, what do you guys think?

*I also love Flyleaf's female singer's voice and I think this song could be appropriate...?

I always have a difficult time with this type of topic, since my music taste is very, very limited (and wouldn't fit most games, since I listen to Japanese pop songs, JRPG music, Ke$ha, other pop singers, American Idol singers, etc, and Reggaeton, lol) and I wouldn't know what kind of songs would fit most games, hehe.

Song: World falls away.
Band: Seether

Reason: I actually don't know why, I guess its just the thought of being on the brink of war, and how the Founders' dream (or WORLD in my thoughts) is slowly falling away and start to decay.

You have to have some awsome parkour, one handed cartwheels while shooting stuff going down with some nice knife kills as well as some nicely placed slow-mo; then this song does its job. It's just a good song.

Doesn't really match.
The trailer and the song have 2 different tempos and feels to them.

Emo music, you got to be kidding me, Suicide Silence is not emo, neither is Dir En Grey... do emos listen to songs called Embryo which is about a girl [censored] by her father and contemplating whether to abort it or give birth to the kid...

Suicide Silence is death metal, emo kids will listen to bands like Bring Me The Horizon or the Used...

Dir En Grey has no genre, they have changed style form style every album, if anything their only emo album would have been Withering to death. They have since changed to a darker and heavier influence from American metal bands. look up their lyrics [censored] idiot before you label, they have written many songs about death, murder, [censored], incist, and many other darker topics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8J5ZlYkkWQ which is about a psycho massacring people and getting sixual pleasure out of it.

Fixed.

REAL emo kids will listen to emotive hardcoe punk (eg. 1000 Travels of Jawaharlal), emo's original form founded in the mid 80's... though who am I kidding, real "emo" music is long dead.

Of course. DT is one of the giants of Prog. Between the Buried and have the proggy sound, but not the voice and in prog, vocals are key. They also mix a hardcoe sound in their music, which I don't care for. I like my prog to be untainted.
