Songs you hope made it into the game.

Dafuq you talkin' about?

Mr. New Vegas's voice tones range from calm, to practically whispering. Three Dog is the one who's constantly screaming.

Example:

Mr. New Vegas: "This is Mr. New Vegas, wishing you lady-like luck tonight..."

Three Dog: "THIS IS THREE-DOG, AWOOOO!!!"

There's only one song that deserves to be in this game:

Nothing else compares.

The built in ability to play my own music. But pretty much anything by the Rat Pack would be good. Maybe a little Glenn Miller.

Tho I doubt its in due to a lack of any 50s vibe, a song Ill play while playing the game is gonna be Mike Oldfield's Nuclear, gripping song with lyrics that fits the game (again besides not really having a 50s vibe)

mentioned it before but -

Runaway by Del Shannon

Especially fitting if there are any runaway android themes, as there almost certainly will be.

Sinatra - That's Life

Even if it is technically 16 years too new.

Watch World War 3 (On Pay TV)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_0OVHcIMh0

It was on a radio station mod for Fallout 3, and I think its the absolute best fighting music you could ask for in the Falloutverse.High tempo, energetic, and all about the complete destruction of humanity. It fit in perfectly with blowing away Enclave and Raiders in Fallout 3, and I am sure it will be great for blowing away Brotherhood paladins or Insitute combat androids or however the faction politics turn out in relation to my character.

I like that this thread pops up time to time, keeps finding some good tunes. I pretty much always say SCREAMING jay Hawkins Cause I love him so much. But I am going out on a limb

Male Protag....... Who do you love Bo Diddly

Female protag....... These boots are made for walking The other Sinatra heh (might be a bit late 60's an all, but damn its cool)

Gonna have to wave up to that Hannibal guy Del was one hell of a crooner no wonder tom petty was singing bout him (Running down a dream )

Waves up

And Like I said before it being Boston and all Some Irish folk music all that is near 300 years old in our world some more just keep getting remade so any would fit fallout....

Whiskey in the jar perhaps

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YUW5Ioqah0

Heavenly - Spill Blood On Fire

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_bJWVmbiAQ

That are 2 songs, who would fit nice into the theme. But i highly doubt i would hear them ingame. ;)

Love me some Whiskey in the Jar. Whose version? My vote is the David Grisman and Jerry Garcia version (even though it was recorded in the 90s) but if Beth demands it closer to the 1950s; the Dubliners (1960s).

I am partial to the Thin Lizzy version. (but what the heck do I know, I trashed my eardrums listening to the clash, misfits, talking heads and Dead kennedys in my Youth, plus the only dancing I will be doing is at the end of a rope).

But you could pretty much go into an Irish pub that has live music and get someone to do it cheap heheh (more so since Metallica did there version)

I was a thinking again today ( watch out) Clarence Henry's ( heh FROGMAN) - I ain't got no home- would put a smile on my face killing raiders as well heheh.

I already decided when I build my settlement I'll be listening to Cities for inspiration. Fallout should have a punk station but I don't think Beth will do that anytime soon. When I'm playing with my own tunes I like Stooges - Raw Power it just has that wasteland feel.

Given that the player character is over 200 years old, they need to put in "You Make Me Feel So Young"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZNIKZdoehE

Its a perfect fit with the type of music they put in Fallout games too

Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree (with Anyone Else but Me)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPJZTRqQ1Xw

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5Qx4Y_hUuE

Popped into my head, only reason I even know and recall the song is when we were teens a friend's mom would listen to it while driving us somewhere and we used to make fun of it :).

I like Martha Tilton's version too.

Also I personally think either one of these would be great which are both Martha Tilton.
