Wouldn't be the first time, a song that was used in a trailer for fallout 3 never made it into the game.

I really enjoy most of the music from the Fallout games, but there are too many male voices (and way too much yodeling).

Honestly though the main thing I want with the radio is to have a better DJ than Mr New Vegas. He was kind of annoying, especially given the discrepancy between the volume of the radio when it was playing the songs versus the volume of the radio when he started screaming into my ear. Three Dog was a legend, hopefully the DJ in FO4 will be more like him (someone you can actually meet in game)

Most songs I could mention would never make it ... too expensive. New Vegas really really needed some Elvis but I'm sure they couldn't afford it.

Exactly the reason, There are a few songs from that film that I think really fit well with the whole Fallout setting.

After listening to it, I definitely think "So Long, Mom" would make a perfect fit.
