secondly I can't waste precious CPU resources on music. i'm barely running this game on hardcoe (25-40 FPS). Extra CPU load from music might drop it below the 25 FPS playable threshold (I'm on a GT 240 )

Playing to the Mcafe mcdonald song gave me 32 kills with 2 deaths on Crysis 2.

On CS: Source got 54 kills 4 deaths so i'll just be humming along all day.

Every rendition of "new york, new york" released thus far, and "trinity" by 009 sound system, just like you imagined by nine inch nails, and invaders must die by the prodigy. I feel that all these songs would really go great with a playthrough of C2, simply because they meet the criteria of grand and epic set by this game

Me, I'll just use the provided music because its **** awesome. And if I ever feel like listening to something else, metal or drum n bass/dubstep works.
