Sooo....

Since I have been hyped for this game for a VERY long time now telling all my friends to pre-order and even saying what stores give what pre-order but it seems that is the only ad out there for this game. Is this game really going to be like MAG and just be known with the word of mouth approach? SOCOM 4 comes out next month and Sony has decided to push them with youtube and TV ads, none the less using "Kevin Butler" to hype it. I'm not asking why there is no ads going, but more is this game really going to be word of mouth? I mean, at PAX east it took a place in the top 10 games coming out in 2011.

I think they're doing the standar marketing campaign,so there is nothing to worry about ans as u said they were in "top 10",that means regular gamers already know it,through PAX,utube, facebook, twitter etc.

Games that had TV ads in the end were failures,so gamers must know by now that advertisment isn't everything.

After release it's advertisment will rise more if it really is a bug-free game, polished as it should be and if all we see now in theory we'll see it happening in action as well.

GameStop has it as a sponsored ad, and Brink banners are flying all over Gamespot's site. Brink is the 11th bestselling game right now for 360 at GS.

I think the snowball is rolling.

In the gaming world, the best ad is a positive review.

This.
I'm sure the game will have enough advertisemants to be good on its own, and I've convinced half of my friends to buy it, so I'm sure if this keeps up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfJ37G2_l9w!

Now aren't you all hoping (like I am) that I get to review Brink?

I will certainly do a review when it comes out.

Me too.

It's just a matter of whether it's a "proper" review or a user review.
