Was going to play a Templar healer with a resto staff. However looking though the Sorc skill tree with dark conversion:

While channeling...

• Restore health and magicka.
• Drain 23% stamina per second.

so sorc with that and the resto staff and dark conversion to keep your magicka up

Would this be viable and if so how would you build it stats wise?

Due to that aspect, Sorc is the best healer ingame.

Sorc is masterclass in ESO, as it is best in all aspects, tanking, dpsing, utility/cc, healing and everything else you can imagine.

What I'm wondering though is whether Zenimax intends for Templar to be THE healing class once they've fully balanced everything. It's the only class with a dedicated healing class skill line, so that seems to be their intention with it anyway.

Templar was the better healer pre nerf. now Templar is the weakest class at all roles.

It will be fun to see all the people whine that made sorcs because they were op, when they are brought back in line with the other classes >=)
