It just means we (the PS3 community) get to work on the story and challenge modes until it's back up.. We are just thankful that there is an offline mode to play..

I knew it wouldn't be. This is a time-consuming process. A few words hit me when I during the last couple weeks that told me this was going to be at minimum a few weeks of repairs and extensive testing.

1. Shutdown of the network and seek outside experts to assist. Had to be serious attack.

2. Rebuilding! When this came up, this is where my time range added a few weeks.

3. Change of location! So add few days to weeks.

4. Lastly, Testing of the new security and infrastructure.

This is more of a project then it is repairs. Wasn't expecting anything for a month minimum. Was hoping for online for Brink, but there is offline. So, I won't be slacking.

I suggest not to, for some reason everyone can, i updated fallout new vegas in the first week cof psn being down, it erased all my nrw vegas DLCs and a few days later my ps3 gets the YLOD.

(Yes i will be complaining alot about my ps3)

Meh... my parents make me buy everything... i worked for weeks just to get my ps3, and this is just tossing me over the deep end, i love ps3, alot of my buddys have ps3, but im considering getting an Xbox360 and paying the yearly fee (even though i think it is a load of pony poop) and tossing my ps3, the lack of news from sony is very lacking, and MINIMAL to say the least. And whose to say it wont happen again, im not sure if im just in a fit of rage, or these are my true feelings.

Whew, nice to get that off my chest.

if it isnt up by tuesday, after i purchase my alienware, im getting an xbox. I love the ps3 because its free, and my parents are CHEAP, i buy my own games, pay my own wow subscription, jesus.
so when my savings are high enough, im buying my alienware, and getting an xbox.

Dude, the game is still playable. In fact it from the start there shouldn't be a difference form solo to multi. It's a fair chance to test the statement "Blends single player and multiplayer"

Yeeeeeeeeeeeah, but a lot of people got Brink with multiplayer in mind. Why should PS3 users have to give up a game mode through no fault of their own?

It really svcks and tbh I'm getting fed up with all of this. I was one of those guys who was optimistic that it would be back on soon. Well guess what soon has passed a long time ago. IMO sony should of kept to themselves and let geohot do whater then they wouldnt be in this mess.

its not just the ps3 being down, its just people on ps3 dont cooperate, mic quality svcks (idk if thats the game, or psn's fault) and i really like a structured fight.

Well i heard on the news today that once psn is back up and running EVERYONE gets a free month of the premium or whatever its called
And everyone else who has it gets a month extra.
So i guess its not the end of the world.
Also the upgrade they are working on is costing sony over a million$

no but its not fair to the psn users just because sony got greedy and decided they want to have rites to something that they are selling for a prophet. If i sold you a pair of shoes that doesnt give me the right to tell you what to do with them does it

I know everything there is to know I've been following this whole thing since psn went down. I'm just at the breaking point i'm tired of hearing soon and up by this week. just for them to turn around and say sorry its taking longer then expected over and over again.

edit: and most of that stuff that they got, could be found on the internet on a background check website.
