Hey guys, just wondering if any of you comp wizards can tell me whether or not this is a good buy, and if it'll be able to run ESO on ultra.
Thanks!

Not up to snuff for my standards, Lenovo?
OP you should be good to run on ultra with that machine.
You're not going to have a quality experience on a laptop playing ESO.
Thanks, I thought so, but my computer knowledge (while not lacking) isn't as broad as some of you comp wiz's.
I've played most games on laptops, so not having a 27" screen doesn't bother me a bit. I'd rather sit on my couch, or floor, and make a prompt arm rest with a pillow and relax while I play.
Whatever floats your boat. Wifi MMO ftw! /sarcasm
haha, of course. When I was in the marine corps, I use to steal internet from the floor below me while using a borrowed Acer to play Age of Conan. =D
But yeah, my internet speeds (now that I'm home and own my own lol) are insane. I'm not to concerned ab WiFi.
Lenovo?!
GT750M even in when its in WTFOMG-SLI-ON-A-LAPTOP is [censored]
GTX870M is about 1.5x-2x as fast. Spend a couple hundred bucks more and get yourself a real gaming laptop from MSI or something.
Well, there are two GT750M's so, I'm not too concerned from that aspect.
wifi is not recommended for gaming
and laptops tend to generate a lot of heat
For some reason I can't load your link, I recently got a new rig and played beta on both my old and new build so I have something to add:
New computer is top of the line, so yay there, max settings no issues. Old computer (5 years) ran the game without shadows and water reflection and everything else ultra just fine. Can't see what you've got but my old PC had 8G RAM, Phenom II quad core processor @ 2.6 Ghz, and a radeon 6770 err something very similar.... needless to say my old build is easily outdone by many current gaming laptops available.
TL;DR - It doesn't take much to make this game run on high or even ultra and you can turn the settings all the way down to colored blocks if you're okay with that.
That Lenovo is gonna explode so if you notice it getting HOT (which it will) set it down and get behind the couch or better yet RUN! lol
And they are slow. The fact that they are in SLI mean nothing. Two GT750M is slower than a single GTX675M or GTX770M, to quote notebookcheck. You only need to compare benchmarks to realize its a [censored] duo.
But hey its cheap. After all, its Lenovo
I didn't have a problem on beta's with my old rig. I run a stead 70mbps. But, if I start to experience lag for some reason I'll just plug it in. Not an issue.
For laptops you can get cheap(3x eu at my country for an good one) but good coolingpads which you can put under it to give additional cooling with up to 4 or more active coolers.
/edit: they arent made for putting them onto your beds etc.
I dont change my pc. its about 2 years old and worked like an charm at the beta. Also it is perfect at ac bf.
In the case i need more i get an 7xxx ati instead of my 65xx
I stack two laptop cooling plates when using any laptop for gaming. So, since that's worked incredibly well in the past, hopefully it continues to do so.
The sli setup is much better at dispensing heat than a single more powerful gpu, these laptops in fact do not get that hot at all.
Did you play PvP or are you just playing PvE?
But that's because they are slower than a single gaming grade GPU, lol.
Keep telling yourself that. The part about Lenovo laptops not getting HOT! lol
Just PvE so far. But like I said, if for some reason, my WiFi starts causing me lag, I'll just plug the thing in. That's not an issue.
For that price you could build a really nice gaming desktop yourself that would be way more powerful.
I'm aware. But like I said, while i game, I prefer not to be limited to a computer desk. Thanks tho!
