Sorry! Trying to install MMM, DarnUI and Arwen's XPR

Post » Sat Sep 25, 2010 12:51 pm

HI folks,

Again, my apologies for bothering the fine folk here. Allow me to explain my situation.

I went on self-imposed study hiatus and did not play Fallout 3. I have not played since January, so I wanted to start a new game and try out Darnified UI in addition to having Arwen's Reduced XPR modification and making sure I have the latest version of MMM.

Now, I remember a few weeks back when I visited here that there was a video tutorial at http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1098568-video-install-guide-for-fallout-3-mods/

Thing is, I'm trying to follow it, and I mucked up because not only did I neglect to use the package manager to install MMM and Arwen's EXP modification the first time, I deleted the file that told me what version it was and have no copies (I was running out of Hard drive space at the time).

Can someone outline for me what I should do to sort of reinstall MMM, Arwen's XPR mod and DarnUI? I'm really lost right now.

Hello again,

What I'm actually doing is planning to start a new game. :)

Let's see. Downloading the MMM RC 5 FOMOD version now and all the necessary stuff has been downloaded. I just need to know if using the package manager will overwrite the old files. I have a save game that can be used for reloading MMM for a four day sleep thing, but I do plan to start a new game.

My Reduced XPR mod is a very simple little thing . . . just reinstall it from the package manager, and select "yes to all" if the install asks if you want to overwrite any files.

Thanks. :)

I THINK (am really not sure) all the mods loaded up fine. DarnUI works, as does the reduced XP mod... I just can't check for the MMM mod as I haven't seen any of the extra creatures, but I think I've seen many raider skins... not too sure about that though.
