hey everyone, i am just curious, i would really like to roleplay as a liberator, sort of a rebel who is trying to reclaim their country to the way it was, (i.e. an irish rebel in northern ireland) but im not EXACTLY sure how that would translate into skyrim. the clear choice is a nord from what ive gathered, but actually, wouldnt they be the bad guys? should I be an imperial, or am i missing an obvious choice. i realize no one has the game yet but im sure someone in this section is more knowledgeable about this than i am.

Nords are indeed the obvious choice, the Stormcloacks are a whole faction of rebels who want to liberate Skyrim from the Empire. Depending on borders, you could also be a Redguard or Breton who wants to take back the border areas the Nords have taken from their respective provinces.

ahh so i wasnt too far off then! thanks for the insight, right now im leaning towards nord but i'll consider those as well
