Sotha Sil and his Clockwork City

One of my favorite characters in The Elder Scrolls lore is Sotha Sil. When it comes to the Tribunal, so much less is known of him than either Vivec or Almalexia, and it disappoints me.

I do not claim to be know everything about TES Lore, but there is so little information about Sotha Sil (both Man-God and City) that I come here for either information that I've passed over, or speculation.

While Vivec and Almalexia were repelling Akaviri invaders and inspiring the people, Sotha Sil was in his Clockwork City, "reshaping the world" and "forging the future" for around 2,500 years. That's enough time for a living god to get A LOT of stuff done. And yet what has come from it? The only impact of what he did down there was felt after his death when Almalexia used his Fabricants to attack Mournhold.

So what were his plans? Did they come to a close the moment he died? Was he just a mad god tinkering away with toys in seclusion? For such a fascinating and potentially world changing person and place, why isn't there more information about either?

Funny thing about limitless answers to all the questions in the universe.......it tends to take up most of your time.
God or not Sotha Sill must have spent a fair time on nirn being lost in a sea of knowledge.......CHIM being the raft, oar, and painted volleyball.
