I'm sure that this has been discussed to death in the past, but I want to know which one you feel is superior.

Although we do know a lot more about Vivic... from what we've heard about Sotha Sil, he seems a heck of a lot more impressive to me.


I leave it to the other Lore Buffs to convince me that Vivic is greater than Sotha Sil and not the other way a round.

Sotha Sil is wiser and an all around cooler guy. Vivec is stronger and more charismatic. If the two were to fight, I'd say that Vehk would kill Sotha Sil, but I'm not certain that Seht would even fight back.

I think Sotha Sil, because even though they both have divine magic, Sotha sil was the mage before he became a god so he would even be more powerful once he became a god. Sotha Sil could use powerful illusion magic to drive Vivec crazy and have him kill himself.

Well, one's alive.

But I oversimplify.

ALMSIVI wins, of course.

Vehk has CHIM, but CHIM-holding means having the mindset to not really use it that often.

I'd still say Vivec because of him being a warrior-poet instead of a shut-in like Sotha.

Vehk is already crazy. Although, honestly, it would be just like him to kill himself and call it profound.

This is important would the fight be before or after they lost access to the heart. Depending on which it would effect the outcome.

Seht isn't really the fighting sort to begin with. I can see their "fight" as a debate on some arcane subject as they probe each other's defenses with nanomagicks.

Ultimately, they hug it out, and Seht divides himself into two.

Lets say they both have access to the Heart, and are in pristine condition.

Nothing would happen. If anything did, Vehk would probably let Seht kill him, and then he would auto-res and get back to dikeing around with Muatra.

If the heart would still be active it would be a really weird fight. Seht kills Vekh, Vekh reappears kills Seht, Seht reappears kills Vekh, Vekh reappears kills Seht, Seht reappears kills Vekh and on and on and on and on and on...

Yeah, if I remember correctly Almalexia said (or implied) that when she killed Sotha Sil he did not fight back.

But that was perhaps a slightly different situation, everything we know about him at that time hints that he doesn't really care anymore. He's perfectly content sitting in Clockwork city ignoring the rest of the world, that might have been a bit different in earlier times.

One reason I am fearful of and in hope of TESO. Not sure I trust them witu some of my favorite video game characters. Not even sure I trust BGS with them. Yes tis selfish...
