So i found where to retrieve my soul in Soul Carin, but when i opened the chest and got the gem, my health started to drain fast. I dont know what to do with the gem. I read if you just touch the gem then your soul will recharge but iv tried jumping up to touch the big floating soul gem above the chest but i cant touch it.

How do i make my helth stop draining and make my soul recharge back to normal?

(I dont know if this matters, but once i retrieved the Elder Scroll (Blood), i left Soul Carin and then i came back to get the soul essence gem)
