Soul Gem Vendors?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 7:16 am

I'm preparing to powerlevel Enchanting, and this waiting 48 hours for 4-5 petty/common soul gems business is not going to cut it. Where can I find more enchanting-centric vendors along the lines of What's-his-face "Ieah haad yu figyured for a mayge" Secretfire?

I figure the Mage's College is a good start, but I have zero magical skills whatsoever and I was immediately turned away by that person telling me that I needed to impress her with some spells that I didn't have, and then she offered to teach me them for money. What a load. Let me in so I can buy your stupid soul gems. Maybe crap like that is why Winterhold is such a ghost town.

Spoiler
Find Dwemer ruins, trust me, you'll not be wanting for soul gems, they are what take up the majority weight in my inventory

Every mage in the game sells them. Arls often have a mage as an adviser (at least Whiterun and Riften). College is indeed a good place. The spell to buy is extremely cheap, I would go for it. Other than that, my fellow forum readers answered that question :). I also found big amounts of soul gem in about every second cave/ruin, and in about every barrow.
