Secret people go around whispering that there was once an Azura's Star throwable weapon, and may still be in the CS. I wouldn't know, being too lazy to ever open up the CS.

Tele could you PM me when you upload the pluginless version? i'd rather not have to fiddle with file names, i've just had to find a bunch of missing creature meshes and it wasnt fun.

Errr, I wasn't planning on uploading a pluginless version. I was just sending it to EW. The readme gives nice instructions for converting it to a pluginless replacer... I suppose if it's okay with EW I can send you a pluginless version if you don't feel up to converting it yourself...

Thanks, the best thing about my naming convention is that I don't need to use my imagination :D

The worst thing about it is that, combined with your avatar, it will cause even more people to mistake you for a girl. Maybe even a girly girl. :D Very nice textures, though.

does anyone else think our EFAI might be on the fritz? I do believe it's singing lovey love songs. You know that if it starts braiding anyone's hair and chewing bubble gum, we're going to have to call in professional help.

You should listen to Gren, EW, he knows what he's talking about :P :D
(joking! Don't hurt me, Gren!)

The A-Star looks amazing, and the common, too :goodjob: Thank you

Stuff like this would really liven up Ye Ole' Alchemy Chamber. No matter what retex and house mod I've used in the past, my alchemy area always looks drab and old mannish.

I liked these so much I replaced the original meshes with these new versions. Your mod is now a part of my game forevermore. Thank you.

Thanks, Earth_Wyrm, they're beautiful. They out-shine the ones i've been using. :)

Edited to add:
p.s.
"Out-shine".... how hard would it be to make them behave as a light - if indeed it's at all possible?
(I do know how to open the CS.... but not much more than that :) )

Now, what about working on some staves. :P

Yes! I want to have in my mod library something named "Staffy Staves!" :)

It is a necessity. :D

It has been uploaded to PES. Just have to wait for the auto-approval thingy to do it's work, then it will be available.

These are amazing. They look like the soul gem replacers you made a few months back . . . but better. Congrats. :goodjob:

Gah. Now the illusion of my non-laziness has been dispelled!
Eheheh. Yeah, most of them have been changed a little since then - but the azura's star and common soulgem are all new. :D
Thanks.

Yeah, that's it. ^-^
It's so weak though
Thanks.

It's fine with me, but maybe I could upload to a temporary location (yousendit or something) just so as people have a few days to grab an easy pluginless version?
Thanks for converting it, by the way - I'll probably be using the pluginless version myself, and you saved me a good fifteen minutes work ^__^

The worst thing about it is that, combined with your avatar, it will cause even more people to mistake you for a girl. Maybe even a girly girl. :D Very nice textures, though.

Goodness me! A girly girl?
I had no idea that this was why it happens so often.
Oh well. It's not so bad a thing :D

You should listen to Gren, EW, he knows what he's talking about
(joking! Don't hurt me, Gren!)

:biglaugh:
Thanks Marb ^-^

Sriously though. I agree with Gren.

Ah! Not another!
Maybe I should do some manly things to make up for it?
Like... draw a moustache on my anime-girl-avatar?
Maybe not
Thanks for the comments ^_-

Thanks, Earth_Wyrm, they're beautiful. They out-shine the ones i've been using.

(I do know how to open the CS.... but not much more than that :) )

I... have no idea. I've never really experimented with lights.
I'll think about it, because this isn't the first time I've wanted to add lights to a mesh.

I'm glad you like them

Thanks - and double-thanks for including the pluginless instructions!

No problem, I was a bit uncertain how I wanted to release it (pluginless replacers are all the rage right now, I don't want to be out of fashion ^_-), so I figured adding the instructions was the best compromise.
Thanks. ^-^

Yes! I want to have in my mod library something named "Staffy Staves!" :)
It is a necessity. :D

Staffy Staves(!) is in development. Perpetually. :D
It's Marbred's and my plan to make us look like busy people with lots of projects on our hands. Right, Marbred?

Thanks to you too Faylynn, Shasta, Lady Rae, Jeoshua, Salamandar, Vlad, Craigor, Rayadrel, Zero, MasterToddy, Victor - I wanted to write a reply to you each personally, but you can only make so many quotes before the forum software breaks down. I'm glad so many people are interested in this small release. ^__^

It has been uploaded to PES. Just have to wait for the auto-approval thingy to do it's work, then it will be available.

Great! Thanks Fligg ^-^
I appreciate you taking the time to work around my PES-uploading issues a lot, thanks alot.

Excellent! :goodjob:
They all look very nice, Earth_Wyrm, much better than the ones that come with the game.

The origional common soul gems reminded me of some sort of mint candy, and the Grand soul gems
looked like a tart or Danish pastry. :D

Not that I dislike Danish pastry, but it just seemed like an odd place to store a soul. ;)

Anyway, great job, and have a GREAT day!

I don't know how to get them to light up either, but that would be cool. You could ask GhostNull. Lighty Lightcrystals? :D

Um . . . okay forget that I just said that.

well i know how to add light property to a mesh, but that doesn't light the area around it, just makes it act like a glow map on the whole thing  Of course I never claimed to really know what I'm doing either ;)

In order for Morrowind to process their light components, the soulgems would have to be made into lanterns. In my own game I just got finished modifying all these new souly soulgems to have emissive materials properties (glowing) and a special alpha transparency type that will oversaturate anything seen through the mesh, making them truly seem to glow. I'll show some screenshots later and maybe if earthworm likes the effect I'll show what I did.
