5.1 Sound & Accelerated mouse

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 6:46 pm

Hi!

I bought F:NV yesterday, but I'm experiencing some issues with it - maybe someone could help me out?

1.) Is there any way to activate 5.1 surround sound for this game? My rig's running a Soundblaster X-Fi which is connected to a great Teufel 5.1 surround system. What do I have to to do be able to experience 5.1 surround sound? Some ini.-surfing maybe?

2.) The in-game mouse arrow seems to be having a little 'acceleration' problem - meaning that it speeds up while i try to point it somewhere. This is very unnerving and I would like to disable this function, but where?

It would be great if anyone could help me! :)

Thanks!

Post your system specs if you want to solve your mouse problem.
I also have a 5.1 channel soundcard for this game and I don't think it can run in 5.1 channel, kind of svcks really. Would be nice to wander around and know if something is in front of me or behind.

You have to use CMSS-3D (Stereo Surround.) in the Creative console launcher. Make sure Windows is set to use 5.1 as well.

I use Alchemy with my X-Fi Titanium+5.1 speakers and it works pretty well. (It is not true 5.1 but "software fudging" to emulate 5.1.)
