Sound problems with Logitech G930 + Asus Xonar DG

Post » Thu Oct 03, 2013 1:49 am

Hi, I'm just wondering if there's a fix to this problem. I'm using a Logitech G930 headset and Asus Xonar DG sound card.

Ingame, positional/directional sound from voices are broken/stutters/skips when I move the camera around. I've tried all different configurations, from switching to headphones to 5.1 to 7.1, 2 channels to 8 channels, PCM on and off, DB headphones on/off, surround on/off, sample rate etc etc but the problem persists no matter the configuration.

Is there a fix?

Are you sure the headset wire is plugged all the way through, either to the computer or to the head gear itself?

Can you tell us a little bit more please.

G930 uses a wireless connection with a USB dongle, correct? Have you made sure to use the newest Logitech Gaming Software and the newest driver for your Xonar card? Which motherboard/mainboard are you using? Do you have any equipment that could cause electrical interference?
