Thanks strupekutter!
I do not think I will change the thunder sounds since http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8711 already does an awesome job in this department. :)

WOW Yet another WIPz mod I'm looking forward to. The city, and tavern sounds is what I've all ways felt were missing.

One question about this, Sorry if it was all ready mentioned. When you're walking along in the wilderness and dungeons will you get that annoying fight music that pops up when an enemy is gonna attack? Listening to all the cool sounds is persuading me to just turn off the music completely when this is released.

Thanks for the feedback!

I have not made changes to the music so these settings will stay the same.

Don't know if I'll turn off the music completely, because I love better music system (would be nice if I could get enhanced music control to work though), but I'll definitely turn music down to hear these great sounds. I do remember hearing some of these sounds in Neverwinter Nights...but it was on one or two Presistant Worlds I used to play on online years ago, so maybe it wasn't in the original game? I don't remember lol. I think I remember some of these sounds appearing in the Morrowind mod Atmospheric Sound Effects too? Either way they're great sounds.

I'll probably end up just removing the battle music since it's all in its own file. I downloaded some extra music that I use for wondering in the wild and in dungeons that i don't mind too much. I just turn it down so it's at a low volume in the background. I use to have some music i downloaded for battles. It was SUPPOSED to be "random" but it played these 2 or 3 song so much and it was SO much louder then the other music that I got pissed and uninstalled it.

Is it just me, or do those city sounds seem similar to the ones in Baldur's Gate 2? Not that I'm complaining :) Can't wait for this to come out as I love immersion mods.

I'm already loving your dungeon ambiances. You do good work Mr Worms, you truly do. I shall follow this with great interest

I just found this and gave it a quick listen too. Some of them sound awesomely creepy. I'll be installing this as soon as I get a chance.

The sounds from Neverwinter Nights might be the voices you hear in the city atmospheres. I took them from Atmospheric Sound Effects. :)
But I'm thinking of changing them, recording new ones, as the ones in ASE are too low in quality. (They have a very low sample rate)
Recording new ones also allow me to get voices from the community to get different races to talk aloud. :D

It's still in production. Though some things needed to be taken care of in the Real Life game. :P
I'm getting back on it.

Here is the eye I'm keeping on this post < o >.

I forsee that I will dump Ambient Town Sounds for this one, since it's getting old and not up to date with Open Cities. (I made myself a version for OC but it's never as satisfying as quality work from real sound modders). Just switching one esp for another, my computer won't complain.

Cliff - you may want to consider using this modder's resource in your mod: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1119027-relz-ambient-sound-pack-one/page__pid__16447508__st__0&#entry16447508

A bit of news here. I was in the process of getting a new computer so I didn't reply for a while.
This said, here's a trailer I've put up showcasing the new sounds you can hear in the wilderness, to make it more lively.

Enjoy!
