Will Fallout 4 get a Southpaw option in an future update? Can't play this new $60 game this way that I just bought. Today most all AAA first person shooters always have a southpaw option for such a large fan base.

New to these forums to find out if there's to be a southpaw controller option for this game.
I've bought it for my son and like the look of it but unfortunately I can't do anything past the character creation as I just can't get around.

If not a Dev would a mod or Community Manager be able to weigh in on this please.
I realise this isn't an urgent issue for the Devs that needs a fix but it is something that is affecting further purchases of the game.
All you need to do is allow the remapping of the toggles on the controllers.

Are you playing on PC or console? The Xbox One has a controller mapping app that lets you swap the sticks. There was a southpaw option in the PC version of Skyrim in 'controlmap.txt' file, however it seems to be included in the .exe for Fallout 4. We may have to wait for FO4SE to change it.

I'm going to 'echo' that I'm confused. I play on Xbox, I'm a lefty and I just remapped everything out of the box to be what I needed. But I want to support full access for the 10% of us that are reverse-enabled.

Thanks for the reply guys and yes I'm on the xbox and have looked into the different remapping configurations but like I said above.
There isn't an option to swap the stick/toggles actions.
If there were I'd of found it, I and my son spent some time trying to do it but couldn't which is why I've ended up here.

The option to swap sticks isn't in the Fallout 4 game. It's built into the actual Xbox One console.
