Sparsely populated gameworld (FCOM)

So I just finished installing FCOM and I'm pretty sure I installed everything correctly, because I don't get any CTDs or errors, but when I travel the gameworld I just can't seem to find much monsters. I mean I get like one or two imps like every few minutes of walking.

Did I do something wrong or is it supposed to be like this? I've already waited the 10 days it takes for things to spawn. This is from a new game.

Maybe wait/sleep for 3 days for a cell respawn, especially if you're using a previous save. Even so, FCOM isn't always bursting at the seams with stuff to kill. You can still find bare patches all over the world. When in doubt double-check and rebuild your bash patch.

there should be test esp included with fcom which will take you thru various cells. that's how i always check if fcom is working right :D

Load order seems fine AFAICT. The default spawn time is 3 days BTW, so you only have to wait 4 days to be sure of one.

You're already using More Wilderness Life, which does just that. The world isn't exactly packed with enemies even with FCOM, but you should get more spawns at the spawnpoints compared to vanilla as you don't use any reduced spawn plugins. Anyway, my guess is that it works as it should.

And most of the monster bunching, from my experience, is in the dungeons.

I had the same thought and stuff when I first started using it, but there come to be more/more-interesting monsters in dungeons and at higher levels in my experience.

Also, now as it turns out I seem to have a little crashing problem. It's nothing too serious, as it's not that common, but sometimes when I load my save files ingame the game crashes, or when a new cell loads my game crashes. Load order is still the same as above. These tend to be very random, as if I try to load up the same save, or go to the same area, when I start Oblivion again, everything works.
