I have hit lvl 32 and suddenly have lost the ability to defend settlements, I go to the settlement when told that it needs defending, I help and clear the settlement, the settlers on the base then thank me for my help, but the quest in the miscellaneous section does not clear, if I leave the base I get a message saying I failed to defend it.

This happened before I switched to Beta, I switched to beta, reloaded the save before I defended the base , but it still failed after clearing the base was complete.

My character (female) has lost its speach when talking to Garvey, since I switched to Beta

I have not gone anywhere else as I lose the base if I leave
