Special Editions

Post » Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:16 am

Hello,

I would like to know if there are any Special Editions going to be announced or already have been? I'm very anxious to see this title and would like to support Spash Dammage for their effort on making such a title on the console.
Developed with the consoles in mind from the ground up, this can only be applauded. I was a fan of ET:QW, but was dissapointed in the console version. I am glad to see that SD acknowledges that consoles are now a primairy market.

Thank you

Welcome to the forums.

There are 4 pre-order packs announced, depending from you get it, it will contain something else. They are not planning on making a collectors edition.

On a sidenote: Be carefull with saying things like primary market, you might start a console war, which is not what we want.

The devs have said that they would really like to make a special edition to include all of the cool art that they have, but as of right now there is no plan to actually do it. Its really hard to make a special edition version of a new IP.

P.S. The console version of ET:QW was actually ported by a completely different company, thus the poor quality.
