Has there been any official comment on the the special edition for PC being a separate install? I'm concerned with whether it's going to be separate or an update to my existing, heavily and painstakingly modded, install.

I saw mention that it's a separate item on Steam and that that lends weight to the assumption that it's going to be separate. I hope it is and that includes stuff like what's kept in your windows profile etc.

Any info been posted on that yet or is it still too early?

It was confirmed that it will be a separate game on Steam.

You can still play the original, or the remaster. It is not replacing the current Skyrim in any way.


There will be a new CK, but all current mods should work with it.
