A special question to Brian Fargo, Herve Caen or Eric Caen

Post » Wed Dec 01, 2010 8:31 pm

hello,

first of all i'll explain why this question is specific to one of the 3 persons i mentioned in the title!
It's specific to them because of one simple reason: i believe they are the only ones at gamesas that have worked on Titus Interactive... so no hard feelings to all the other workers ;).

As to the question you will find it very unusual:

back in the early 90's, according to this picture (too big to set as an img in the forum):
ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/games-adverts/d/DuckTales-TheQuestForGold.jpg

Titus Interactive was in the process of adapting the game "Ducktales : the Quest for Gold" to a few machines... and among this machines comes the good old ZX Spectrum!

My question is: What happened to the ZX Spectrum version??? Was it released??? If no, was it at least finished or even started???

this is just a curiosity, because no one seems to know what happened to this version.

So can anyone give me any information about this??? :?:

thank you so much!!! :D

Very strange request.. but you can get in contact with Brian Fargo by visiting InExile's website.

http://www.inxile-entertainment.com/

Go to the contacts section and address it to Brian Fargo, hopefully they'll pass it onto him.

Brian Fargo didn't work at Titus. He was the original CEO of gamesas before Titus took it over. Herve and Eric Caen are originally from Titus, though. The Vault - Fallout Wiki * Fallout Online * Fallout IRC Channel * Fallout: New Vegas

As to contact Mr. B. Fargo, i sent him an e-mail a few days before i post this message here... no reply so far... But thanks anyway for giving me this direction...

This question is actually very important to me and i would really like to know anything about this version from the developers...

Do they use to reply users in the forum???

I can't find any other contact way :(

Thanks a lot

As I said, Brian Fargo never worked at Titus itself and Titus took over gamesas long after the game you're asking about. As for the Caen brothers, you can try sending a PM to Herve Caen, but I'm not sure if he reads this forum at all (he has not posted here yet). This holds very true. Brian Fargo left when Titus Interactive bought out a majority of the shares. I don't blame him either. Why watch your company go down from the hot seat while also becoming the coffee boy at the same time? Fargo made a good move. Just wish now he could come back.

P.S. You forgot to mention too Brian Fargo was also the Founder of gamesas. Image
I told the Overseer of Vault 13 I'd give everything to save everyone, and so I did, I saved them all. Since then I've felt loneliness.
