When I assign a special vendor (like the vault-tec rep) to a store, they allocate ok. But when I try to buy from them they have no stock and 2 caps. My inventory shows as empty too.


Am I doing anything wrong?

Try waiting for 24 hours and then coming back. Sometimes you have to give them a day for their inventory to 'reset'.

I recruited Ron Staples and Doc Anderson and they have yet to show up to the assigned settlement, and it's been a week of game time...anyone else having similar issues?

I had the same issue with 0 caps and 0 items on the vendor. I just load my save back a few minutes before assigned the vendor with problems and then problem solved.
