I like to go to the repairmen(women) and pay them caps to fix my equipment, as my own repairskill is low to start with and later items used to repair is not very common, like sniper rifles.

Now upgrading the traveling merchants, the caravaneers working out of Canterbury commons lets u get quite decent gear. But now I managed to save the life of specialist Olin (Operation Anchorage) after the opening of the blast door. And she repairs my gear to a hundred percent(100%).

Now I must add that I updated my game with the unofficial update found on Nexusmods to make the game run on my new win8.1 laptop. (Shame on you developers for letting a freelancer do this.)

The reason I write here is that on Fallout 3 wikia it is stated that Olin will repair to 50%. And I would like to update the wikia to reflect reality. But my problem is that I applied this unoffical update and I dont know where too look to find the original repairskill, and when or where it is changed. And I would like to get this information.

Anyway I really enjoy this great game, and would just like to use this rare occasion (writing in a gamerforum) to thank the producers for making such a great game.

well i can tell you for a start she doesnt fix things to 100% in the vanilla game, if i remember right, her repair skill is something like 18. normally i opt for her to get killed so i can take her stuff, no point in having her around to fix things because there's more conveniently placed merchants with higher skills.

You can temporarily disable the Unofficial Patch and speak to her again. She should be back to her vanilla stats.
