Specific weapons STILL don't award assists in Multiplayer.

Several patches later, and the X-43 Mike, K-Volt, L-Tag, and JAW still do NOT award assists in multiplayer. Yes, that's right. Also, the L-TAG Icon doesn't show correctly in the UI either. It should show a graphic profile of the L-Tag, not some exploding barrel icon! These are really simple fixes and have not been implemented yet!

These are all excellent support weapons, but thus far have not been given the assist score functionality that they rightly deserve.

If there's ever going to be another patch, which I doubt there will be, I really hope these issues are fixed. Just minor things. ALSO: Please disable advanced particle rendering server-side so that the players do not suffer a massive FPS/ping drop when orbital strikes, or massive amounts of glass windows/panels are destroyed.

L-tag shouldn't be given assists :X its too spammy. The l-tag symbol shows one of its rounds, its quite clear that its an l-tag.

K-volt and X-43 would be good with assists.

As for your second point, I concur, decreasing orbital lag and poling lag is a good thing.

I guess it's lag that goes from server-client, and not client-server.
Which makes sense, since everyone (except the client, client-side.) freezes. And thus the server is lagging information. Because they are moving, except that you can't see it.

Did I just read that right? Particles that AREN'T client-side only?
..What were they thinking!?

Yeah, it occurs when the server lags its updating on sending client data to everyone else. Hit correction then mercs you XD.

Particles being server side, would be really weird. Ion lag did not occur at first when the game first came out, but Ion cannons often missed people. I had assumed the lag was from increasing the poling to accurate hit people with the ion cannon and to stop an exploit that made people immune to it. At the cost of massive server side lag...

*sigh*
First they have all this client side stuff so that people could hack the game using NOTEPAD... then they have server side particle physics
*facepalm*
