Yeah, but I want MORE than playible. I'm getting Crysis 2 for the graphics mainly, so I want to play it at FULL graphics.

at full graphics you will need at least a ATI Radeon HD5870 ...
i have a HD5850 and can play crysis at very high and 4AA fluently.

I can guess. Thus, my reason for not getting it on PC. No money, no new PC

I have an AMD Phenom II x4 @ 2.6Ghz, a MSI GTX260 with 896MB DDR5 @ 16xQ AA; 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz OCZ RAM, all setting to VERY HIGH @ 1920x1080 Resultion - runs over 40fps and so smooth IDK what to do with myself. My Primary HDD is a 250GB SATAII @ 7200rpm and I am running WIndow 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I recommend you look into upgrading your rig to a quad core if you want to run anything coming down the pipe on ur PC and really enjoy it - 64-bit Win7 would be a big performance boost too over Vista 32-bit.

if you want it to look its best consoles may not be the right place for you. Consoles only go up to 1080, pc moniters can go much higher than that

Yeah, but as I said, my PC will not handle it, so PS3 is the next best thing

Thus the reason I'm getting it for the PS3. Next BEST thing. The top reason I play games is the graphics. I like graphics.

The 'best' involves e_lods 0 and e_terrain_lod_ration 0, you really don't want to see the crazy triangle counts. :)

PS3 still cannot possibly look as good as the pc version. If you're being a graphics whore then PC is the obvious choice.

My computer should be fine to play the game at reasonable settings, but considering it's already been some time before I've upgraded anything I guess I can't complain. Even then, I think I would prefer the game on the PC over the xbox... it's just a different experience for me.

It's already been discussed in other threads. It will run better than Crysis1.

Hey, I can run crysis 1 on my comp. at very high with no brops, but I was thinking, will it be the same with Crysis 2. I have two graphiccards:
Nvidia GTX 275 and Nvidia 9800GT, so... will they be enoguh?

Anyone know?

I hope so Kryp. I'm unemployed. I have a decent enough system and my 9800GT better be enough or I won't be able to play.

Based on E3 interviews, Crysis 2 will have lower minimum requirements. I think people should be able to rest easier knowing that.

I'm very fortunate that I can afford a luxury hand-built gaming rig, and I hope that those who are less fortunate can rest easier now.

Crysis 2 will be better optimized than Crysis, while improving the graphics.

If you can play Crysis fine, then you can play Crysis 2 fine.

Yeah, same here. I play at 800 x 600 on Low Settings. I intended to buy computer parts that I'll need to purchase, then build a Kickass Gaming Rig. Hopefully, I'll get enough money to purchase before Crysis 2 comes out!
