Anybody else see this spell tome in the testhall? Has anybody tried it out and seen what the effect is? Does it even work?

I haven't seen or tested it, but I'm assuming it's something related to Conjure Bound Bow, which summons a bound bow and bound arrows with each cast. The arrows certainly look "spectral". I don't know the first thing about Skyrim's game engine, but it could simply be the arrow-creating portion of the Conjure Bound Bow spell.

I haven't tried it, but if it is in a spell tome then I have it on a character. I can't test it or anything though because I'm away from home with a laptop that would probably explode if I tried to run the game on it.

Hmm. Now I'm curious as well. Wonder if it might be something similar to the spectral arrows from the movie "Immortals".

OK just tested it. Its a projectile that looks like a little laser ball, and makes the same sound you would expect from a laser. It does 30 damage and is a apprentice conjuration spell (even though it works like a destruction spell). It auto staggers and creates a weird rune type animation when it hits a surface, as opposed to an actual target. When I killed Illia with it, she slid across the ground for 50 feet.

Haha, sounds fun. Blew my lame theory out of the water. Is that an actual in-game spell, or just a leftover devtest item?

Just tested it. It shoots out a magic arrow out of your hand (complete with the twangy noise as if you had shot it from a bow) that does a bit of damage and staggers the target similar to how a dual casted firebolt with impact would, but without the necessity for either perks.

A dev spell that didnt make it, or was for testing, or something. It does work though.

Wonder why it didn't make it... Conjuration definitely needs more spells, and this sounds pretty cool. Sort of like something from Midas Magic in Oblivion, if I remember correctly.

I'll have to go try this spell out...
