I've seen plenty of people mix sword and spells together, but what about archery and spells? Has anyone done it successfully?

No sneak or melee, just archery and one or two schools of magic for offense?

You should mix Conjuration with One Handed and Archery.

Bound Bow and Bound Sword sounds like something you'd like.

I already did an arcane swordsmen, who basically used a bound sword and then a destruction spell in the other hand. It was cool. All my builds use one-handed in some form though. I finally want one that doesn't touch it at all.

My mistake, I totally missed where you said that. Seriously, try the Skyrim Blog. There are so many types of characters. Im sure you can find what you're looking for there.

What are some viable builds you'd recommend? I want something that just totally avoids one-handed, because I've used it for EVERY single build I've ever done. Bored of it.

I also just don't find stealth as satisfying as regular combat, so aren't interested in that either.

What kinds of magic schools are you interested in?

Well, I did think of doing a Blood Mage, because of that spell which lets you convert health into magicka.

Perhaps an arcane archer? Just take out the sneak and there you go.

Blood Mage sounds really cool. Loved them in Dragon Age. Just the spell is quite rare, right?
