spell combinations

To be honest, i'm kinda new to forum anything, so i appologize if this was already asked and i missed it.

i've looked at the videos for the E3 demo several times, and Todd Howard mentions and demonstrates the combination of spells. However, he only mentions they can be combined if they are the same spell. is there any news on if you can combine multiple spells for varied effects?

example: if there is a water spell of some sort, and I have that in one hand and lightning in the other, could i combine them to cause a lingering effect? or is it a "one at a time" thing unless they're the same?

I think it has been confirmed you cannot combine two spells that are different.

EDIT: :ninja: :ninja:

So far I am aware of, you can always combine spells. Like a Detect Life spell and a Fireball in the other, you can use them at the same time but never combine them like spellweaving in Fable 3. Only if you equip both spell in your hands will they have greater effect.

okay, that's all this was about. i'm pretty psyched and started to speculate the possibilities of spell combinations with a friend. i suppose that with as much work as they've put into the environment and gameplay, i really cant complain if they decide to not worry about a "firebolt" combination.

Here you go guys! A http://images.uesp.net//c/c4/Fishystick.jpg for you

Someone give me my damn fishystick.

And for http://images.uesp.net//c/c4/Fishystick.jpg.

And no, you can only combine the same spell for a better version. If you use two different spells then you will get just that - two different spells at the same time.
