Hey all,

I was wondering if someone could direct me to a mod that replaces the spell icons of scripted/custom effects spells, such as 'Stark Reality', 'Narmina's Shroud', Midas' Spells etc.

I know it exists somewhere, but whenever I search 'Oblivion spell icon replacer' I'm always directed to mods that aren't one icon replacers, rather they're a new set and colour and so on . I know this type of mod exists somewhere, because I used it in my last installation. Can anyone direct me to what I'm looking for?

The one in the post above isn't what I'm looking for, I've not seen the other one so I'll give it a try.

ETA: Actually, the alternative isn't what I'm looking for either.

The reason it's so hard to find is because it's so hard to clarify what I want. Where can I find a mod that replaces all of the scripted effect spell icons (originally they come with the burden icon) with one new icon?

I believe Custom Spell Icons can do that too. If not, have a look at Kyoma's spell renamer. One of the two has that option - I'm pretty sure.

There are several mods that replace the script spells. LAME has a bundled option.

You could get Duke's Script Effect Silencer and reassign the dds in the file path to whatever icon you choose from whatever mod. Takes about a minute in TES4edit I always use the script effect silencer and LAME so I have a version of the silencer with the LAME icon.

Though I must say - I didn't try Custom Spell Icons until the last few months - it has become an essential for me. A very cool mod for spell packs and already configured for SM, LAME, Midas.

Search for "Script Effect Icon" on TESNexus, there are a six or so to choose from.

But I heartily recommend Custom Spell Icons, as that allows you to set each such unset icon to your liking.
