I made a spell then wanted it to be once a day so I made it a power. I heard I needed to make it into a spell tome to get the spell. I did that and the book doesnt have the spell in it. I added the script. Also while playing the game do I need to Spell esp and the tome esp selected in the data files while playing the game or just the spell tome?

Did you edit the Spell Tomes.esp? And make a separate .esp with your Spell in it?

If so, then this won't work, because the Mods are isolated-- one .esp file cannot read another .esp file.

You will need to copy the script from the Spell Tome into the Mod with your Spell in it, and then make a new book with this Script attached.
