Spell Types

I hear they've removed touch spells...
I also hear they've added some flamethrower type of spell casting...

A kind that I however would prefer to see is a cast around caster!
It would be great for thief/stealth-mages, leading all their enemies up close just to cast a frenzy and an ice spell, then dodge/roll (Oblivion style :tes: ) and escape that circle of chaos, then a camelion/invisibility spell would allow you to get a fair distance. Now you could either take them out with a bow, a fire spell, or simply sneak away and return to finish the weakened last man standing.
in a situation like this (surounded by enemies) a battlemages/shield wielding mage would also work quite well, a nice fire spell and then simply blocking attacks while the enemy burns in a circle, or (if the AI is advanced enough) runs out of the circle you could finish 'em with a bow/throwing weapon or a few more spells (cast on target).

I personally think these kinds of spells would be eternally useful, a restoration spell for your companions, or a destruction spell for your enemies.
Do you have any spell types you'd like to see? If so why?
Do you want to see a cast around caster? If not why? If so, why?

EXTRA:

I've got another idea for a spell type which I doupt will be included (even more than touch which was confirmed out) you lounch a ball/beam/something-else of magic... this thing does nothing whatsoever until you fire the spell again... now at the current point of the ball/beam/something-else of magic the spell should be aplied... like a big explosion of poison in the air, or a floating silence. If the ball/beam/something-else hit something however then the current position of the hit object (could be an NPC or a static), should be were the explosion apears... this would be quite usefull if fx. a frenzy/fire version was put on a summon and you use it as a walking bomb that will be activated whenever you chose (which attacks enemies).

Spells that have an area of effect around caster are confirmed (a spell like this appeared on the official trailer). It was a visually impressive fire spell.

Now that you say it I vaguely remember that... would anyone mind posting a link to the slowed down (the most slowed down) version of the trailer?

I'd like to be able to cast area of effect spells at an area rather than a target, like Flamestrike or Ice Storm spells from D&D.

Never played/found out what D&D stands for so could you explain it a bit further...

D&D = Dungeons & Dragons

But to explain what I meant: Say you're trying to cast a fireball at a group of enemies on the far side of a cave, i'd like to be able to target the area where they are standing. In Oblivion you kind of had to target one of the opponents individually so that the explosion would hit everyone. If you missed the spell sailed harmlessly by and missed everything.
