On spellmaking

Post » Sat Jul 16, 2016 7:24 am

Hello all, after scouring the CS and the forums for an answer I decided to ask my question here.

I'm playing with mods which alter the game's spells, including nerfing or disabling in spellmaking/enchanting some effects such as Command Humanoid, which I personally found intolerable due to the way I like to roleplay my nightblade. In short, how can I allow the spell Command Humanoid to be enabled for spellmaking/enchanting again?

In the tabs at the top: Gameplay -> Magic Effects.

Look at the small section named Creation Modes.

I'm out of time, hope that helped!

Open up the CS, find the mod that changes the spell effects you're looking at, and open it as the active file. Find the magic effects window under gameplay, find the spells you want to change, and there'll be separate boxes to enable/disable spellmaking and enchanting. Change, and save.

Be sure to make a backup of the original mod just in case.

Gods above, I can't believe it was right in front of me all that time - goes to show that you shouldn't edit things when you're tired. Thank you both, that did the trick:)
