Spells applied to player but magic effects not.

Hello, I am playing around trying to make a fun vampire mod. At the moment when my script calls for the age of the vampire to increase, the vampire's old age abilities are removed and the new age's abilites are added. All old abilties are successfully removed and the new ones are added BUT while the newly added abilties are all present they have all lost their magnitude and/or effect for some reason stating a magnitude of 0. So Frost resistance and fire weakness and Increased Carry Weight abilities etc are all listed for the player but none of their effects are working (Verified with player.getav).

All these abilties work flawlessly when added through the console and my vampire speed ability works fine as it is controlled solely through a script attached to the magic effect.

So for some reason the associated items in the MGEF's are being ignored but attached scripts are not and the abilities are all added and removed as they are supposed to be.

I've been going through my script trying to see how that could cause this but It looks fine and honestly I'm just baffled lol. So I was just wondering if anyone has had or heard of this problem before because I have nothing at the moment lol.
