So, my current gun mod is just about finished and I'm currently away from my own computer. As such, I've started planning for my next gun. While doing some research, I was look at the GAU-8, the main gun from the A-10. One of it's features is that instead of raining spent shell casings down on everyone's heads, it cycles them back into it's magazine. Anyways, that got me wondering something.

Is it possible to adjust the recovery rate of spent shell casings or is that pretty much set in stone?
