LMAO, I saw that and rolled, but I can't really say what their intentions were, less it was a mistake or misunderstanding.

I'm a console gamer and when I saw that I laughed - mostly because of how unnecessarily hilarious it was - but nonetheless, it made me laugh.

 I missed that when I started playing. That's pretty funny.

Makes me wish my friends would play something other than their 360's so I won't feel bad about getting this for PC and leaving them hanging.

Yeah, seems like they could have just said "Players new to objective teamplay, but experienced players may find it interesting too"

This. They don't go out and say it, but they're only mocking Call of Duty and how "modern" FPSes fight to its standard.
And they had better mock them - the whole POINT of Brink is to break away from Call of Duty.

I didn't notice this, though, heh. I was in a rush to change my video settings, I skipped right past it. Turns out that also meant I skipped out on a thousand XP. :sadvaultboy:

It is what it is, it was a playful jab at console players, basically saying "This is something new for you!", and also tipping the nod to PC players to possibly quell any early "port" complaints.

They're definitely one of the few developers who are based on the PC.

"PC Elitist" is a redundant term. :P

But it's not new to us. There are already plenty of class-based FPS's on the consoles.

Maybe SD are pc elitists?

Considering that the PC version is supposedly lag-free, I'm starting to believe this.

They went multiplatform for profit. They went Valve.

Well what can you say? It's perfectly true that we console players as a whole aren't very good at working together, so why does PC has much more?

After going back online and trying to play again... I think Splash Damage just trolled and tea-bagged the entire console gaming base and all the PC gamers are laughing with them at us right now. That's what it feels like. We just funded Brink 2 for the PC with our money and can't even make it out of spawn points. It's a sad state of affairs. Right now I feel totally duped.

I didn't know of this 'til now...thank you in more words than I can express...now I have proof for all my 360 buddies that when it comes to gaming, 360ers are thought of as rookies/noobs in the gaming world. They're confused thinking that other players see 'em as skilled. Still got love for you though 360ers.

Some? Most^...from now on, COD series/360 players/noobs should be considered synonymous. It's odd how COD [censored] tend to be 360 [censored], too. And I'm not making an attempt to speak ill of you personally, Trigger. And my intentions aren't to troll/flame. It's a correction/edit...and maybe a low blow :whistling:

Didn't know the word describing an extreme fanatic for a product is censored...you learn something new everyday (or you should). BOY, this FAN is sure annoying from all the hot wind it blows.
