Overview:

  • Rain impact splash effects appear on most uncovered surfaces during rain.
  • Ambient, rain sound effects play in interiors with keyword LocTypeHabitation. Adjust the volume through console command "setpqv _splquest rainvol X" (X is a float between 0.0 and 1.0) then exit the interior and re-enter. Default volume is 0.5.
  • If the mod ever needs to be restarted, use console command "setpqv _splquest restart true" when you're outside during the rain.

Known Issues:

  • Splashes will appear underwater.
  • Interior rain sound effects are louder in first than third person.

@isoku - did you incorporate "covered" non interior areas to eliminate the rain & snow effects - like blacksmith area as one example?

Me too. I spent months on that thing...

You shouldn't see the splash effects under shelters if they're low enough.

Looks beautiful :tops:

Everything you make becomes a essential mod for me :D

Thank you isoku

Just wondering why you haven't incorporated it into your wet and cold mod ?

Because Wet and Cold is bloated enough as it is and this mod has nothing to do with NPCs :)
