Whoops sorry for the confusion. I'm not much of a PC user for gaming as I use Ubuntu Linux since Windows svcks. Once all these millions of Linux embedded devices devour Microsoft and Apple alive and everyone starts developing games for Linux with OpenGL and Bullet physics I will buy the sickest multi core processed Tesla GPU Linux based OS driven desktop. In the meantime Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 are pretty nice. I really don't care if the graphics are far less on split screen it is about fun with your friends and family.
This is funny, because you sit there and bash windows for being crap, then talk about how OpenGL and friends is gonna come save the day, in the meantime you decide on MS's closed console system being a good call, and that uses DirectX API almost exclusively, a direct competitor of OpenGL/etc. The more DirectX gets supported obviously, the more it is here to stay.
Way to stick it to the man, (MS) by making sure directX has more support than OpenGL (of which your PC supports both.)
I'm all for open formats and whatnot, and thats why I game on PC, not the walled garden.
