How so? Split-screen makes any FPS better.

Splitscreen and horde mode or a type of co-op will increase sales by at least 500,000 Console players love couch co-op games

I would love to see split screen. The problem with it though is, that Crysis 1/2 already gave a lot of trouble for consoles to run at playable state. How much the campaign would be needed to be toned down when playing split screen co-op since the game needs to be rendered twice? Even Left 4 Dead gave Xbox 360 trouble and split screen was a lot worse than single player experience, because of the lack of zombies. Competitive multiplayer could be a lot easier to be played in split screen.

Split screen for PC would be amazing.

What? All I can play with my friends when they're at my home is Dirt 3 and football games :/ We PC gamers deserve more splitscreen games.

Split-Screen would be nice but it isn't gonna happen. Crysis 1/2 hardly stayed at a decent framerate with one person. As for system link style of co-op, however, that would be possible.

You'd need a really big screen too... split screen is only really good for arcade-y "fun" games

We'll just have to wait and see what kind of mp details Crytek announces. It's doubtful in my opinion because like everyone else says, the game will look as good as the 360 can make it look while probably not leaving any memory left over for split screen.
