Alright so I'm at the point where I need to get someone to follow me, bring them to the shrine, and kill them with the dagger I was given.

I've brought multiple people to the Pillar of Sacrifice, but nothing happens. I try commanding them to touch the pillar, nothing happens. I kill them with the
dagger while they're on the Pillar, nothing happens. I've tried with two of my Housecarl's and a Dark Brotherhood Initiate.

Can someone who has finished this quest please just tell me if there is a specific person you need to bring to the Pillar of Sacrifice or just who they
brought? Or tell me if I'm completely missing something... I've been trying to figure it out for a couple days now. And yes, I've searched all over the internet
for help already.

You have to stand near the pillar when you get your follower to activate it. You should see some shiny effects happening and they'll get stuck to the pillar.

Hm, sounds like a bug. Just to check, you entered 'command mode', told them to touch the pillar, they got 'svcked in & attached' to it, right? If yes, then you have a bug, I'm afraid.

No they won't even get stuck onto the pillar. Literally nothing happens when I command them to touch it

Have tried from many positions to get Cicero to touch the pillar but have NEVER gotten the command or action when I left click the pillar. This is a bugged quest all around. 1st for the Flamers Yes I am over level 30, Yes have have talked to the Priestess and gotten the quest on the follower to "touch the
Pillar" It just does not work. even right over the marker.

Have you told the follower "I need you to do something for me," then clicked the pillar? When I did this quest, I used Lydia. I had her follow me to the pillar, told her I needed her to do something for me, activated the pillar, and then killed her with the dagger they gave me.

Ditto, but I used Illia from Darklight. The first time I told her to use the pillar it didn't work and she defended herself, but the next time a blue-ish shield surrounded her and
she was unable to move or fight back. The "do something for me" command seems to be a bit buggy.

i know that some followers are immortal and cannot be killed. i used the guy from the bee and barb.
