We can now blow off enemies limb like an arm off while the enemy still attack you alive.

I had wished this and post about in the past post, but now it's confirm.

Mods has allowed us to discuss what we seen.

Interesting I wonder if this is certain types of enemies only.

Well, it was already confirmed with ghouls and whatnot. Potentially synths.

No word or proof regarding human enemies though.

i think this new system only apply to feral ghoul, synths and robots.

It will feel weird if i blow a arm from a raider and he keep attacking me =P.

But if u watch the combat trailer that leak from Queakcon there is a part where he blow the leg of a Feral ghoul and he keep coming crawling to u, really really creepy.

Yeah I already have issues with enemy AI in Fallout, I don't think I'd be able to look favorably on a raider trying to attack me with his dismembered arm while I sit safely in power armor.

Hope this is true, I always really hated how blowing a limb off would instantly kill someone

Shooting the leg off a ghoul will now make them fall down instead slow walk as far I can see.

Actually, they don't die because they lost the limb- they die because their health reached zero and you did a lot of damage to that one limb, so it blows up and at the same time the enemy dies.

I don't think it would be a good thing to see zombies raiders without legs crawling, trying to get you.

It'd be pretty cool if you could blow off an arm and they fall over screaming though heheh...

well a normal human that lose a limb by a extre dmg, aka explotion or high caliber gun, will not die but become so shock by the dmg that pretty much become paralyses. i mean we arent speak about a hand, we speaking the full arm.

Honestly with the rate you bleed out losing a limb that violently, ya not gonna survive long anyway, so its not really that unrealistic they die off from that.

Headless Chickens do run and attempt flight for a small amount of time after decapitation.

Personally, I don't really care one way or another. On the one hand, I found it kind of strange that enemies could take a hit from a grenade and walk away with a limp; I mean, if we're to understand that an arrow to the knee is a career-ending injury, what would a grenade do? On the other hand, I don't want enemies' limbs flying off every time they get hit with a pistol.

I already determined that I'm going to blow off some ghoul's arms and then use that Perk to befriend him. I'll then let him follow me around. I'll call him handless Luke.

Ghouls i think they are used to things falling off so they would keep attacking, but humans should be on the ground screaming omg! omg! omg! you shot my (screaming towards you about what ever body part you shot off, still annoyed they removed the V.A.T.S. option for groin shot) before you put a round through their head

How awesome it would be if we could blow off ghoul legs and then go for finishing knife move while he is crawling... nice way to save bullets :D

I've seen the ghouls and really happy about that. I doubt it'll be the same for humans. Hope so tho. I hope Enemies sometimes die slower than normal. Like youll have them dead, theyll fall, but theyll be slightly moving around, bleeding out, then die. Just to make it more realistic. Kind of like people on Gta V, how theyre down, still alive sort of, but basically dead.
