Dashwood's the only casualty, in my opinion.

Way I solved it, in my canon playthrough, I let the ghouls in because it was the "right," thing to do without metagaming. When I found out later what Roy had done, I killed Roy and was done with that piece of [censored]. The rest of the ghouls weren't hostile to me.

Just want to chime in and say that the haircut the BoS leader is sporting is called the hitler YOUTH haircut.

The brotherhood of steel is evil and i will do everything in my power to bring them down.. they are essentially high tech raiders.. a raider faction that steals tech and supplies and hoards it for themselves while killing anyone who gets in their way... so yeah basically high tech raiders and they will meet justice!

Which is why I ended up sparing Tenpenny.

Megaton is full of smoothskins so of course Roy would find the idea of killing them fun.

Roy is found threatening to kill everyone in the tower and he asks for your help wiping them out. I don't see it as metagaming to conclude letting him in peacefully could still end very badly. In fact assuming everything would workout in the peaceful quest outcome is metagamming.

I didn't conclude the same, so..

Just realized I played with the Peaceful Ending mod for Tenpenny. Made me feel a lot better.

I said before when we were discussing the MWBoS: Mike Sutton looks like a forty year old hobo but has the voice of an eighteen year old. Course, after all the face and body mods, I can't tell a pretty ghoul from an ugly scavenger these days.

This guy must be at least 37.

To be fair, life in the Wasteland cannot be good for your skin even if you are a Smoothskin. That, added with the fact that there are people who look much older than they really are, it's really any surprise that Maxon (if this is him) looks to be in his 40s when he's really in his 20s? That and his beard and haircut helps age him up.

I never once considered helping gouls slaughter a tower full of people. First playthrough i simply killed Roy first time he asked me for help.
