Spoiler: The year has been confirmed

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 2:58 pm

I can see them being there to kill the super mutants. Lyons did promise to purge their kind from existance, and its likely Arthur would want to complete that given how he has seen how much trouble they can be.

For there to be a fight between the three factons, the CWBoS would eaither have to take over all of the MWBoS's lands, or skirt all the way down from D.C. into Georgia, then move west through the entire unexplored south to the Texas/New Mexico border.

I haven't played Fallout 2 very much, but they seemed to have a lot less grey to them than New Vegas. Tandi's rule being the high point of the NCR being good people as compared to the fall that they experience in New Vegas as they start expanding and trying to become a new empire.

Basically what im thinking, yeah. In my opinion one of the major themes of Fallout is that a state or faction that lives long enough in the wastes will eventually expand into a empire, and its that empire that causes their downfall as they get involved in more war. Because war, war never changes.

Honestly, I don't see a lot of NV reference happening. Maybe a reference to the second battle of Hoover Dam, but probably not who won. Or maybe even the Legend Of The Divide will reach Boston.

The Master's army spread far and wide throughout the western wastelands, so there is precedent for the CW super mutants spreading to Boston. I think that there would be super mutants kicking around the entire east, although not in the same numbers in DC. We don't know very much about the super mutant situation in Boston, aside from them having a redesign to not look so orange/yellowish. Before anyone asks I think the redesign is purely visual, rather than them being from the western stock or something like that.

If real life people could rise to prominent ranks in there early 20s in the ye old days, I don't see how it be to far fetched to expect Arthur having done so too.

Sure, when life expectancy was 35 years old. In the entire history of the BoS I don't even think there has been a Paladin who was in his early 20s, and for sure never once an Elder. They earn their ranks based on time served and experience, not birth right or name. John Maxson had children, and the High Elder who followed him was Rhombus, not a Maxson, and the BoS still used a committee of Elders who all voted on decisions.

I would prefer an original story than copying King Arthur.

I could deal with him being a Paladin(even though imo he should be a Knight), but Elder? That would be damned silly.

It'd be pretty strange considering all of the other elders have been.. elder.. not to mention the life expectancy doesn't seem to be 30 years old like back in "ye old days", especially as a BoS member.

Damnit evlbastrd you ninja'd me with the same posting time stamp.

Yes, according to Caesar, they own all of New Mexico.

That's why I stopped at the Texas/New Mexico border, as that is where a Legion/CWBoS encounter would take place. CWBoS in Texas, the Legion in New Mexico, and they meet at the border.

That would be cool, I imagine the Big MT and MIT being rivals. Did house go to MIT?

I noticed. lol. I don't think I have much to worry about, Elders don't go out and fight, they sit at home and make decisions, so I would say he will be a Knight or maybe, a Paladin. If he is an Elder, then head explodes and I will go kill some androids to vent frustration.

Yes, House attended MIT. I never even considered the possibilities regarding House being mentioned in Fallout 4, but considering House was an MIT grad and such an enormous success, it would be weirder if he wasn't mentioned.

*Cough* one of the Maxson's died in combat at like 90 something years old fighting the Vipers. *Cough*

House was a MIT grad. He founded Robco during his time there.

His company did at least, I doubt House personally worked on it.

The ship's name is the Prydwen. And it appears to be a mobile command ship.

I mean, you can't really get any more on-the-nose then that. I'd be willing to bet 2 whole monies he's Elder.

It'd be cool to see a portrait of house, and maybe find a prototype of one of his robots.
