Hi!

After a long and quite enjoyable run through the game; with occasional crashes (these increased after the latest patch) and some usage of the cheat console to get disappearing quest givers and such to re-appear, I'm on the final quests of the game.

Specifically: Wild Card: Change in Management, For the Republic, Part 2 and The House Always Wins, II...
I just acquired the Lucky 38 VIP card and I overrode the network at the H&H tools place.

Now I need to enter the penthouse in the Lucky 38 to either kill Mr. House, or at least talk to him (I'm in possession of the platinum chip); but every time I try to do so by talking to Victor, I get to see robot Jane for a couple of seconds after which the game stops responding and crashes to the desktop.

I don't see any way to get around this except for loading up old saves (and even then), but I would like to avoid this if possible...

Any solutions to help me actually finish the game would be welcome!

As I luckily found out I still had a recent save, I've since come a bit further along in tracking the source of this problem:

I was able to get into the penthouse without crashing if I didn't use the override at the H&H tools factory (I did use the key card) I also did not complete the "The Moon Comes Over The Tower" quest, which I did before.

If I do complete that quest (but not the override), I can move around for a bit in the penthouse (which wasn't possible before) but the game always crashes very quickly.

However, even though I can now get into the penthouse / control room, I can not leave the penthouse without crashing; I'll try to transport via the console... but this is getting a bit annoying...
